    1. Housing designed to hold brush spring and guide commutator brush toward armature.

Brush Spring
    1. Small spring inside brush barrel to ensure commutator brush stays in contact with the moving armature.

    1. A method of keeping the vehicle on a slotted track. Several versions have been made:
      a. Cylindrical being the most common.
      b. Wedge or tabbed are the second most common.
      c. Tyco X-Treme Wall Racing uses a "C" shaped guide that fits over a "T" below the track surface. Vehicles can only be added or removed from a specific spot on the terminal track.
